Daddy, If You Don’t Get Saved You’re Going to Hell (35 min)

Ralph Bunch didn’t know he needed to be saved until he was 24 years old. Growing up in Cold Harbour, Newfoundland, Canada, he took up a career in the military. Serving in Ontario, his daughter started attending Sunday School. Coming home from Sunday School one day she announced “Daddy, if you don’t get saved you’re going to hell”. Listen to hear how Ralph eventually got saved on 19th Feb 1981. (Testimony given in Canada 6th April 2021)

“Troubled and empty, but I didn’t know why” (9 min)

Born in the USA in 1939, Jerry Jennings grew up without a Bible or the gospel. Tragically, his alcoholic father drowned in 1948. Joining the navy, Jerry would serve in Korea and Vietnam, but still he never heard the gospel. Looking up at the stars as a child had convinced him there was a God but now, aged 34, married and back in the USA, he found himself troubled and empty, but he didn’t really know why. Then a lady…

Robert Craig – “I fought at the Battle of the Somme” (36 min)

Robert Craig’s (1898-1987) life story is hard to take in. Running away from home in 1914, he “signed up” and joined the British Army. Sent off to France at the beginning of World War 1, he saw action at the battles of the Somme, Ypres and Saint Quentin, and survived 4 full years of conflict. He relates how, time after time, he was the only one who survived an attack, or a shell or some other mortal danger. Returning to…

Harold Paisley’s Testimony and Call to the Work (83 min)

In Toronto, Canada, in 1956, on the final night of 5 weeks of gospel meetings, Harold Paisley (1924-2015) related how, when and where he was saved by the grace of God. At the outbreak of World War 2, at age 15, running from his godly upbringing, he joined the RAF, afterwards joining the Mercantile Navy. Then, coming home, he joined the Police in Enniskillen, Northern Ireland, but was dismissed due to a lifestyle of drunk and disorderly behaviour. About to…

The Story of the Two Crosses (36 min)

Tim Coltman tells the amazing life story of his great grand-father William Coltman (VC, DCM & Bar, MM & Bar), the most highly decorated non-commissioned officer of World War 1 (British Army). Coltman, a believer in Christ, would not take up arms, but served as a stretcher bearer on the battle fields in France and Belgium. He was awarded the Victoria Cross for valour in the saving of lives; but his greater interest lay in “the cross of Christ” through…

Saved in the RAF (44 min)

Stan Burditt tells the remarkable story of his and his wife’s conversion to Christ while in the Royal Air Force, back in the 1950’s. Stan’s is a most interesting and quite amazing story that powerfully illustrates the power of the gospel to change lives. He has lived many decades to prove the reality of the work of the Holy Spirit in his life (Testimony given 31st July 2011)

A Royal Marine Commando Finds Christ (36 min)

Growing up in a slum in Bristol during WW2 in a drunkard’s home, Michael Browne (1930-2016) joined the British Army and became a Royal Marine Commando. A careless and self confident young man, he saw action in the jungles of Malaya in the Far East. To Michael Browne, a Friday night was the chance to watch a film, get drunk and have a fight. On one such night in Hong Kong in 1951, Michael Browne had an encounter with the…

“Give me one good reason why you are not saved” (17 min)

Ken Fillis was a policeman in the RUC during the troubles in Northern Ireland in the 1970s and 80s. God preserved him through it all and finally saved him in the year 2,000, when in his 40’s, during a series of gospel meetings in Coleraine with Murray McCandless and Peter Orasuk. The question that God used to get his attention? “Kenneth, give me one good reason why you are not saved”! A touching story. (Testimony told 27th April 2008)
