Born in the USA in 1939, Jerry Jennings grew up without a Bible or the gospel. Tragically, his alcoholic father drowned in 1948. Joining the navy, Jerry would serve in Korea and Vietnam, but still he never heard the gospel. Looking up at the stars as a child had convinced him there was a God but now, aged 34, married and back in the USA, he found himself troubled and empty, but he didn’t really know why. Then a lady walked down his driveway and put a copy of God’s Way of Salvation through his letterbox with an invitation to attend gospel meetings. After 4 nights of meetings Jerry’s wife got saved.
