Butch Paquette grew up in a drunkard’s home in a poor community in Northern Ontario, Canada. After his father left, young Butch’s mother raised 7 children alone, reciting the rosary with them each evening at bedtime. Though an altar boy in the church, Butch became a troubled young lad who ended up spending time in numerous foster homes. Life went from bad to worse, leading to a number of visits to prison. But God worked in Butch’s life and in 1980 he moved in with a Christian landlord called Jim McCandless who invited him to Gospel Tent meetings! For the first time he learned he needed to be born again as the two preachers, Norman Crawford and Paul Kember faithfully set forth the truth of the gospel. The Holy Spirit convicted Butch of his sin and his danger of perishing in hell. Listen and learn how Butch was saved at 2.00am on July 27th 1980.
