Eric Hughes (1930-2020) was born and raised in Liverpool, England. Coming from a home where the Lord was not known, he first heard the gospel in Sunday School. Saved in a gospel meeting at the age of 15, Eric would go on to be baptised and received into fellowship in an assembly of Christians, gathering in David Street, Liverpool. There he remained for the rest of his life, faithfully serving the Lord. He was a highly respected overseer and was widely used in the ministry of the Word.
