Sam Ferguson – “There is a lad here” (26 min)

Sam Ferguson (1927-2017) grew up in a godly family in a country area of Northern Ireland. Attending the meetings of the local assembly often involved a 13-mile bicycle ride, such was the family’s commitment. Moving to Belfast, Sam was saved at the age of 15 during WW2. Later, once married to Pearl (Jackson) and living in Bangor with their family, Sam was commended in 1970 to serve the Lord full-time. He was a much used evangelist and God blessed his labours over many years. At the Easter Conference in Belfast in 1987, after various missionaries had given reports of service in far off lands, Mr Ferguson rose to speak on “There is a lad here”, and give an exhortation to the young people present to give their lives in service for Christ.
