Albert McShane (1914-2002) grew up in Kilmore, Co Armagh, Northern Ireland. Deep impressions of eternal matters were made on his mind in Sunday School. As a child he lost a brother, and event which, with other family bereavements, weighed heavily on his heart. As a youngster he heard both Hawthorne Baillie and Frank Knox in series of gospel meetings. Troubled over many months, he was finally awakened to his urgent need of salvation in a prayer meeting in 3rd January 1929, and that same evening he found peace through John 3:36 – “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life”. Reading: John 3:27, 30, 36. (Testimony given in Northern Ireland)
