Peter Orasuk – Restoration (35 min)

Peter Orasuk (1948-2005) is best known for his testimony, but he was also a gifted encourager in ministry! Murray McCandless wrote of him: “After conversion, Peter became an avid student of the Word and continued until his health started to steal his ability to concentrate. He spent hours in it, enjoyed it, shared it, and became a channel of blessing to those who listened to his ministry. I understand the Word of God reveals itself to our hearts, but I know of no other man that could capture the sense of any given passage, and interpretation, as quickly as our brother. This was very obvious to any that shared or heard him in a Bible Reading. Such ability never went to his head, but to his heart! He not only got a hold of divine truth, but the same got hold of him.”

In this message on restoration Peter speaks about how believers can break down. In all of our lives there can be a breakdown in worship, in communion, in confidence and in service. He illustrates this from the life of John the Baptist and Nathanael. An encouraging message especially helpful for any believer who feels like giving up! Readings: Psa 23:1-3a, Matt 11:1-7a, 11, John 1:43-49, 21:15-17 (Message preached in North America)
